How are you best
utilizing your talents, knowledge and creative wisdom to inspire and help
others? This is an especially good time of year to be thankful for your
gifts and talents you posses. It is time to reflect and refocus your
energies to making a real difference on this planet.
Why are you here?
I discovered that I am
a leader and an inspirational teacher. At first I didn't really accept
myself as a teacher. I knew I was a speaker and a writer, but I hadn’t
really realized that being a teacher was my purpose and that's what I was
put on this earth to do. Now I know that my passion has really been
discovered, and that's what I will continue to do for the rest of my
life.
What series of
events led to my discovery?
I am passionate about
speaking and teaching people how to have successful businesses. I’ve been
doing this for twelve years, seven of those years full-time. Yet it only
became clear that this was my life’s purpose in December of last year. I
attended a breakthrough workshop with a mentor for two days, and it just
hit me like a lightening bolt, “This is what I was put on the earth for.”
The reason I had been doing all these other things in my life, such as
building and selling businesses was to get the expertise and the knowledge
to do what I was really put on this earth to do, which is to teach others.
Now my teachings are
not just about business, they include inspiration for personal growth and
development as well. My presentations deal with mental belief systems and
inner work. I discovered that teaching in this way is really my true gift.
Others now receive my message from multiple angles and it is such a
blessing!
I was innately
transitioning into that type of work, but I didn’t completely realize it
until I refocused my life’s intentions. Before my discovery, there was
something missing for me, something I needed to be more passionate about.
How to discover your
life’s purpose
You cannot fully be of service to other people until you are of service to
yourself, and the only way to be of service to yourself is to be true to
yourself and never settle for less than you deserve.
Never stop learning and
expanding personally. Be a life-long student, not just a student of what
you think you have to learn in your industry. Become a life-long student
learning more about YOU.
When you work on
yourself inwardly, emotionally and psychologically, along with continually
learning new business skills, that’s when you really become a true master.
That’s when you become the best that you can be.
“Strive to be your best
at and then share your gifts and talents in the service of others.”
